Allison Iraheta's Final Appearance On American Idol Season Eight

May 20th 2008 marked the final appearance of Allison Iraheta on the season finale on American Idol. Allison sang her last song -- a lovely duet of Time after Time with Cyndi Lauper.  I would have preferred a rockin song for Allison but this song was simply elegant and it brought a teary-eyed remembrance of all the songs she sang and we enjoyed during American Idol Season 8.

On the season finale of American Idol Allison also sang a couple of group songs with the top 13 contestants. One of the songs was So What by Pink. Pink is one of Allison's idols so I can imagine how much fun she had singing that song. They really rocked it out!

Allison Appeared and performed on Ellen May 11 2009. She talked to Ellen about being on the show and talking back to Simon about her song choice and his comment telling her to beg. She was right to speak up for herself and as she commented she did it respectfully. She performed the song "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" It was one of the nicest versions she sang so far.
